A Reflection on Curation, 2019
Sublimation printed on polyester and sewn together.

Produced for Handle with Care studio at RMIT.
This artefact is a culmination of research and reflection on the experience of curating the RMIT grad show, Handle with Care. It is to be read as an undulating book, pairing images of field studies, in-class experiments and the fabrication of the show with reflective text and quotes from readings that guided my thought-process and reasoning. While the artefact can be read in a linear fashion, the length and malleability of the fabric allows for stretch and movement. Squares from opposite ends can be positioned next to each other and it can be draped in different ways depending on the context, allowing for new connections to be made—akin to the layout of individual works at the grad show.
